The ongoing ticket rates controversy in Andhra Pradesh is reaching new heights. With the Ap government headed by CM Jagan Mohan Reddy hellbent on having its way with regards to Ticket rates in theatres and having a stranglehold on all the theatres despite repeated requests, feelers from top Tollywood celebrities, theatres owners, distributors, exhibitors, Tollywood is facing question marks over its existence in Andhra Pradesh.
With the owners of many theatres deciding to close shop following raids from the officials, Nani came out in open and expressed his views strongly against the ticket rates in theatres. He said Ap government is killing the industry and added that Ap government is insulting the people of the state with their actions.
Now the question is will other top stars of Tollywood take a cue from Nani and talk against the Ap government or still continue with their pleas and requests disowning Nani just like how they did when Pawan Kalyan spoke about Ap government's actions over ticket rates and other issues pertaining to the film industry.
