D-Day has arrived. Movie Artists Association (MAA) elections kickstarted today early this morning. It is known that the last couple of months witnessed a war of words flying from all quarters with both Manchu Vishnu and Prakash Raj leaving no stone unturned to win the contest. Polling started today from 8AM today at Jubilee Hills Public School, Hyderabad.

Already Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Mohan Babu, Posani Krishna Murali, Sai Kumar, Manchu Lakshmi, Navveen Vadde, Srikanth, Naresh, Siva Balaji, Uttej, Jabardasth comedians Sudigali Sudheer, Rocket Raghava cast their votes. Many other actors are coming in big numbers to cast their votes.

Chiranjeevi said he will support whoever wins the elections and help in the development of MAA and its future programs and initiatives. Pawan Kalyan said the media is giving too much importance to Maa Elections and added that MAA is a small body with just 900 votes. Early in the morning Prakash Raj tried to touch the feet of Mohan Babu. Mohan Babu resisted but patted on his back. Prakash Raj however hugged his rival, Vishnu, son of Mohan Babu.
