Balakrishna's upcoming flick Akhanda is progressing at a brisk pace under the direction of Boyapati Srinu. It is known that the makers are shooting climax scenes in Tamil Nadu.

Earlier the makers shot important scenes at the famous Melmaruvattur temple in Tamil Nadu. Now reports are coming that the makers are shooting important scenes on the lead pair at the renowned Arunachaleswar temple in Tamil Nadu. It is known that Arunachaleswar Temple is known as Agni Linga.

The makers are keen to wrap the shoot soon and ready the film for release. Rumors have it that the makers are planning to release the first single on August 15. The film stars Jagapathy Babu, Srikanth, Poorna in crucial roles while Pragya Jaiswal is playing the female lead. Thaman is the music director for the film bankrolled on Dwaraka Creations banner by Miryala Ravinder Reddy.
