Theatres in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh opened a couple of days back and a couple of small films kickstarted the proceedings much to the delight of all the stakeholders. The next few days witnessed a flurry of activity and crazy updates followed from the makers of the top stars' films.

Makers of Prabhas' Radhe Shyam, Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Pawan Kalyan-Rana's Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake, and Venkatesh-Varun Tej's F3 announced their arrival during Sankranti 2022. Already Vijay's Beast confirmed its release during Sankranti's longtime back.

This set the stage for the Sankranti wars and triggered fights on social media among fans of the various stars. But in the midst of all this, many are wondering whether everything will be fine in the midst of the delta variant scare and also all the talk about the third wave of corona predicted in a month or so.

Already countries across the world is grappling with delta variant which is spreading at deadly speed leaving scientists and doctors at their wit's end. What is shocking to all is even those who are completely vaccinated against covid are as powerful carriers as those who are not vaccinated.
