It must be admitted that the Tollywood in the 1960s and 1970s was ruled by a few big heroes of one particular caste. It was during their legacy, there were many accusations and allegations against them as it was buzzed that some really talented and handsome young heroes belonging to other castes were suppressed by them. As such, the doors of Tollywood were shut for new talents.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, however, broke the monopoly of the caste biased heroes with his unique and impeccable acting and dancing prowess. The legacy of Chiranjeevi started in the 1980s and is continuing even today. In this new legacy of Chiranjeevi, every new talent is embraced by the film industry. No casteism and regionalism in Chiranjeevi's regime. This is purely a democratic system.
Obviously, the governments show enormous respect for Chiranjeevi.
We are hearing the speculations that heroes like Balakrishna and Mohan Babu developed jealousy on Chiranjeevi's emperorship of Tollywood. But then, they must admit the fact that mega family personnel are the rulers here but not those 1960s and 70s casteist heroes.
As is known, both KCR and Jagan Mohan Reddy are not inviting Balakrishna and Mohan Babu for crucial meetings to discuss Tollywood's issues. Perhaps, the CMs thought of them as the heroes who had lost steam. In such a case, they should prove their mettle again as crazy heroes with nonstop hits and should dominate Tollywood and its politics.
