Murali Mohan not only made his mark as an actor but also as a politician. Apart from it, he is also into the real estate business. He owns one of the popular real estate groups Jayabheri Group. Now Murali Mohan, promoter of Jayabheri Group got a shock from the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court rejected the plea of former TDP MP Murali Mohan and his relative Ram Mohan, to set aside the orders of the Hyderabad High Court. Hyderabad High Court passed orders against them with regards to the sale of apartments in the Jayabheri Silicon Valley.
Hyderabad High Court in its order directed the Miyapur trial court to frame 420 charges against them and start a trial for breach of trust and cheating. It was alleged that Jayabheri Constructions and its promoters and partners violated the norms of HUDA to leave a setback of 14 meters to Silicon County. It instead used part of it for a driveway for the Club Silicon and IT Towers. While the driveway was practically 16 feet, it was shown as 24 feet per agreement. An FIR was registered and a charge sheet was submitted under sections 406 and 420 IPC before the Madhapur Court.
