Rajamouli failed in this aspect?

Rajamouli is the only director in Indian cinema who did not taste a flop till now. He elevated the power of Indian cinema at the international level with his films like Magadheera, Eega, and Baahubali. He is currently busy with his upcoming entertainer RRR and has his next locked with Mahesh Babu.

However many feel he is a failure in one aspect. Though Rajamouli succeeded at the box office, his proteges failed to replicate his magic. Rajamouli's proteges Tikoti, Karuna Kumar, Kannan, Jagadeesh Talasala, and others came out of his school and did films but they failed to score hits.

This is unlike the proteges of Trivikram Srinivas and Sukumar. Trivikram's protege Venky Kudumula scored hits like Chalo and Bheeshma. Sukumar's protege Surya Pratap scored a hit with Kumari 21 F and Buchchibabu Sana created a sensation with Uppena. Gopichand Malineni's protege Bobby also scored many hits. Rajamouli is unhappy with his proteges failing at the box office.
