When Balakrishna rejected Rajamouli

Rajamouli is now that most sought after director in the industry. He elevated the standard of Indian cinema at the international level with his Magnum Opus Bahubali which created a sensation across the world. Earlier he created a magic with Magadheera. Currently he is busy with his upcoming multi starrer RRR with NTR and Ram Charan. 

Almost all actors in the country are dreaming of starring in his direction. Now it is coming out that Natasimha Balakrishna missed the golden chance to star in Rajamouli's direction. It is known that Rajamouli scored a hit with young Tiger NTR's Simhadri. While Simhadri happens to be Rajamouli's second, it is  NTR's seventh.

Rajamouli met Balakrishna and narrated Simhadri story. The Rayalaseema based faction entertainer however didn't impress Balakrishna and he rejected the project. Rajamouli then narrated the same to NTR who happens to be his debut film Student No 1 hero. He signed the film and it turned out to be a blockbuster creating many records. Balakrishna might have rejected the film as he did many such faction-based entertainers.
