Sky was the limit for mega fans' jubilation when the most sensational combo Mega Power Star Ram Charan and India's top director Shankar's project was officially announced by Dil Raju. Also, Mega Power Star was supposed to have created a rare record of sorts working for two back to back films with two top directors of India ie. Rajamouli and Shankar.
However, a series of recent happenings suggest that it would take more than enough time to get the film rolled down.
The producers of Indian 2, Lyca Productions, are said to have approached Madras High Court seeking the completion of the balance shoot part of the film. Even, Shankar is learnt to have given his nod to wrap up the balance shoot part.
But then, the film needs ample budget which may hardly be invested by the production team. Besides, it would be a mammoth task for the Hollywood technicians to set foot in India to work for the film in the prevailing covid limitations.
Considering all these odds, Ram Charan and Shankar's project is unlikely to get materialized this year. Let's see if Shankar would take any sensible decision to launch Ram Charan's project at the earliest.
