Huge Budget On Flop Hero, Flop Director

Director Lingusamy who once made some sensational hits is reeling under string of flops. He tried hard to convince stylish star Allu Arjun for a project which didn’t materialize. Then, Ram was approached with the same script and the actor gave his nod to be part of the project to be bankrolled by Srinivasaa Chitturi.

On the other hand, Ram’s last film Red turned out to be a flop and he needs a sold hit to make strong comeback. It is heard that, Ram and Lingusamy’s film will be made on massive budget of around 70 to 75 Cr. Ram’s biggest blockbuster iSmart Shankar made a business of 35 Cr, which means they are spending more than the double budget.

The yet to be titled flick that was launched recently will be made as Telugu-Tamil bilingual. While this marks Tamil debut of Ram, Lingusamy is making Telugu debut with it. Krithi Shetty is finalized to play the lead actress while Nadhiya is being considered to play a crucial role.

The shoot of the film is likely to commence by the first week of May.
