Koratala Siva found the suitable baddie for Chiranjeevi in Acharya. The Mirchi director has an eye to cast strong antagonist for his films whose presence will help in elevating the film akin to the hero. And believing in his concept, Koratala Siva has finally cast Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta in the villainous avatar.
Koratala decided to have Mardaani 2 actor after having watched him in Naga Shaurya’s Aswathama. The Bengali actor also impressed Chiranjeevi with his performance. A source close to the development says that when Koratala was canning the acting shots, he felt vindicted by Jisshu’s performance and true to his work, the actor also nailed his performance leaving Megastar might impressed.
Acharya showcases about Chiranjeevi, a naxalite-turned-social reformer who takes on the Endowments Department over misuse and embezzlement of funds in Temples. The filma also has Charan sharing screen space with his father.
Essaying the role of Siddha, Charan plays full-fledge character with his father for the first time. Acharya is all set for gradn theatrical release on May 13.
