Tenet In Cinemas, How Will India Receive?

Christopher Nolan’s latest directorial venture Tenet’s release was delayed by three times due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the film was finally released in the United Kingdom on August 26, 2020, and United States on September 3, 2020, in IMAX, 35 mm, and 70 mm. Unfortunately, the film despite receiving critical applause failed to recover the investment.

Christopher Nolan has fans across the world and Indians too waited eagerly for Tenet, before the corona crisis. The film is now gearing up for release in India. The makers have released new posters showing Tenet in cinemas soon in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

Since no Tollywood filmmaker dared to release their films, films like Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Bheeshma re-released in few centers. However, the response was very poor from the audience.

Now, all eyes on Tenet and how it will be received in India. The action thriller and science fiction film starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Michael Caine, and Kenneth Branagh is likely to get better response compared to first releases after reopening of cinemas.
