World Famous Lover Gets Poor TRP

Vijay Deverakonda’s last outing World Famous Lover was an utter flop at the box office. The film directed by Kranthi Madhav was made on good budget, it botched to entertain any sections. Producer KS Rama Rao incurred huge losses. The film was released on OTT during lockdown and it got lukewarm response there as well.

Recently, World Famous Lover had its first world premiere on Television. But, the film gets poor TRP rating. The Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, Catherine Tresa and Izabelle Leite co-starrer received 5.82 TRP. Vijay is one of the crazy star among all sections. His previous film Geetha Govindam indeed got record TRP of 20.8. Mahanati, where he played a brief role is also in top 10 list with 20.21 TRP.

The bold content and extreme negative talk is the reason behind World Famous Lover receiving lukewarm response on its world television premiere.

Currently, Vijay Deverakonda is doing Fighter under the direction of Puri Jagannadh.
