Routine Stuff Or Experiments: Will Nani Overcome It?

A wannabe director became actor and he is none other than Natural Star Nani. He saw many hits and flops in his career. Bhale Bhale Magadivoy became game changer for him and he scored consecutive hits. Although thy lacked freshness, Nani factor worked in favor of those films. But, people started rejecting Nani’s films owing to monotonous feeling with regard to the routine films he chose.

Nani then started experimenting Devadas, Jersey, Gang Leader and V. Devadas co-starring Nagarjuna ended up as disaster. Although Jersey received uNanimous positive talk, it couldn’t recover the full investment. Gang Leader also tanked at the box office due to uncountable blunders and silly writing.

Freshly, V that had direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video also got lukewarm response. Despite huge promotions from the lead cast and crew, the film couldn’t impress audience. Nani for the first time played a role with negative shades. He was good in some scenes. But, his ‘athi’ in few scenes exasperated audience.

Nani hoped this role in V will garner him immense accolades. But, he is getting criticized for accepting to do such role. Now, he is dilemma whether to continue experimenting with different roles and scripts or he should confine himself to routine stuff like he used to do earlier.

One thing for sure is Nani has limitations in his acting. He should first overcome that. Then, he can try different genre entertainers.
