Realizing that, the entire future lies on Otts and digital media, top Tollywood producers are now readying for digital war. Already Allu Aravind started his own Ott Aha in March 2020. Now inside talk is Suresh Babu, another top producer is planning to enter into a digital platform.

Suresh Babu said that he has the resources and team to churn out content for the web of the films and he is in discussions with his genex family members. He made it clear that he has no rivalry with Allu Aravind and both are good friends.

Aparna Ahcrekar, Programming Head, ZEE 5 expressed her happiness to cater to the tastes of Telugu viewers. She also says ZEE welcomes the healthy competition. Sushmita Konidela, daughter of Chiranjeevi, launched a crime-based web series a week ago on ZEE 5. Zee 5 is also airing popular show Amrutham on its platform.

A person from another digital platform on anonymity says web content making is a different ball game and producers who can come up with 100crs movies cannot make successful web content. He says filmmakers who make action entertainers and masala potboilers cannot shine on the digital arena.

Viren Thambidorai, Creative Head, South India, Viu digital platform, says there is a demand for 1000 hours of Telugu content in the year but they are coming with only 300 hours content.
