Mahesh Shifts 2 Films To Vijay Deverakonda

Happening hero Vijay Deverakonda has been listening to various stories in the lockdown and he’s lining up some interesting projects. Currently starring in a sports drama tentatively titled Fighter, Vijay Deverakonda has already signed a film with Shiva Nirvana. Meanwhile, the young hero replaces superstar Mahesh Babu in two films, if reports are anything to go by.

It is known that, Vamsi Paidipally was supposed to make a film with Mahesh Babu. However, Mahesh postponed the project, given he was not convinced with the script. Vamsi Paidipally made few changes to the script and approached Mahesh Babu. Although Mahesh liked the script, he already committed to do Sarkaaru Vaari Paata under Parasuram’s direction. Thus, he shifted the project to Vijay Deverakonda. What’s more, Mahesh Babu will also produce Vijay Deverakonda-Vamsi Paidipally film.

On the other hand, Sandeep Reddy Vanga planned a film with Mahesh Babu. However, after listening to the script, Mahesh felt he may not aptly fit the bill, since the character was arrogant like the lead role in Arjun Reddy. Mahesh then suggested Vijay's name for the film. Thus, Sandeep narrated the same story to Vijay Deverakonda who without even listening to the story gave his nod.
