Is CM Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy doing extreme levels of injustice to people of Brahmin and Kapu communities? According to the top leaders of both the castes, the CM is doing great injustice to both the communiteis.
When the Modi led union government offered 10% reservations to 'Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)' from upper class community, then TDP government provided 5% quota to Kapus. However, the bill never came into force and no single Kapu was benefited with the CBN's government.
Post the general elections, 2019 and YSRCP assumed power, Kapus hoped Ys Jagan would take all strict measures to implement Kapu quota effectively. Leaving a shocker to every Kapu, the YSRCP government lifted 5% reservations which, earlier, were allocated by the TDP.
In fact, Ys Jagan proclaimed in a public meet during his election campaign that Kapu reservations wouldn't be possible. Even then, innocent Kapus showed extreme generosity and sacrifice towards Ys Jagan by casting their votes to him.
Though the YSRCP claims that they allocated huge funds around Rs.2700 crore to Kapu Corporation, hardly, 2.5 lakh Kapus were benefited as alleged by Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan. On the other hand, some Kapu leaders turned as the YCP's slaves and are shamelessly lambasting the thought provoking questions posed by Pawan Kalyan on anomalies done to Kapus.
The plight of Brahmin priests and archakulu is a different one which is connected to religion bias. The YCP government cleverly introduced the scheme financial aid Rs.5000 each to every Hindu priest and the people of same status from other religions. shockingly, innumerable number of particular religion are getting benefited while many Brahmins haven't been included in the scheme with reason cited by the government that the Hindu Brahmins had a separate department. (Endowments Department). "In short, the government earns greater amounts through Hindu temples and is distributing the same to particular religion," says a temple priest.
"The CM is requested to desert his hatred on Kapus and Brahmins and should shed his bias on a religion," urged a victim.
