Movie lovers are waiting eagerly to see which Tollywood top star would first resume shooting and the status of the big-budget films and when theatres will open and when will films release. They are also having their own doubts about whether shootings will start in the near future.
This is because through the governments have given permissions for the film shootings and makers decided to resume shootings, with corona cases increasing at a rapid pace, no one is keen to take the risk.
Though a couple of small films started shooting, they are also now planning to call off due to coronavirus pandemic. Under these circumstances, sources reveal Tollywood stars already came to clarity on when to start shooting and they have even informed the same to the producers.
Tollywood senior stars Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi, and Balakrishna told their makers that they cannot start shooting due to age restrictions. So their films will get delayed. Venkatesh who is also senior star, however, decided to start shooting from September. By December, Venkatesh will enter into the 60s club.
Ravi Teja whose Krack is in the final stage has decided to wrap up shooting as soon as possible. However, producers are in two minds. Though Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab has only ten days shoot left, he told his makers not to hurry but resume shooting only after the corona vaccine comes into the market.
Mahesh Babu is ready to start shooting from December for his next film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Allu Arjun is ready to start shooting for Pushpa from September but put a condition that shootings should be only indoors. Rajamouli is keen to start RRR shooting but Ram Charan and NTR told him that they would shoot after the corona vaccine comes. Nani also informed the same to his producers.
Vijay Deverakonda told the makers that he is ready to shoot from September. Rana is set to start shooting from September after getting married in August. Though Varun Tej and Nikhil are ready, producers are not ready.
Akkineni heroes Naga Chaitanya, Akhil, Sushanth told their makers that they will enter the sets only after the vaccine comes into place. Naga Shaurya, Raj Tarun's projects are on hold and Ram's Red, Sai Dharam Tej's Solo Bratuke So Better, Sudheer Babu's V are waiting for release.
