Trouble For Krishna And His Leela: Publicity Stunt?

Krishna And His Leela starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Shraddha Srinath and Seerat Kapoor directed by Ravikanth Perepu released a couple of days back on OTT platform Netflix. Even as people can decide on whether to watch the film based on the reviews, the film landed in a huge controversy.

A person named Rajesh approached Cyber Crime Police and lodged a complaint against the filmmakers by degrading and hurting the Hindu sentiments. He questioned how could the makers name the lead characters after Hindu Gods and depict the characters indulging in sexual acts.

It is known that the film revolves a youngster maintaining romantic relationships with two girls simultaneously and the girls too are aware of it.

Some say this is a publicity stunt to get viewers attracted to Krishna And His Leela. Only time will tell whether the controversy will help the makers in any manner or not.
