Fighter Firepower Reduced

Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for his powerful Bollywood entry. It is known that after the success of Shahid Kapoor's Kabir Singh which is a remake of his hit film Arjun Reddy, the entire nation started talking about him.

Though his last films Dear Comrade and World Famous Lover bombed at the box office, Vijay Deverakonda decided to enter Bollywood. He is turning Fighter under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. Vijay Deverakonda is romancing Ananya Pandey in the film which is a sports-based entertainer.

Vijay Deverakonda is playing the role of a boxer in Fighter and the makers earlier shot few scenes involving international boxers in Mumbai. But following lockdown, everything turned upside down. With Maharashtra witnessing numerous cases of coronavirus and Telangana government permitted shootings, Puri decided to make changes in the script.

As such Puri planned to shoot all the scenes in Hyderabad as traveling to other locations national and international is risky. Even international Fighters would not future and instead, the action scenes would be completed with the local Fighters. Mani Sharma is the music director for the film.
