The Telangana government has taken a significant decision to permit film and TV serial shoots. The government has released a G.O. on Monday permitting film and TV serial shoots.
It is a known news that cine celebs under the leadership of Megastar Chiranjeevi held extensive discussions with the Telangana governemnt on the restart of the film shoots. It's now understood their discussions ended up on a fruitful note.
However, the government mentioned that the shoots will be carried out with limited cast and crew maintaining all norms of lockdown. Also, the government hasn't permitted reopening of film theatres.
The government's impulsive decision is certainly said to be a booster to the film industry that has already lost thousands of crores with the lockdown.
As we are aware, about 14000 cine workers, who are mostly the daily wagers, lost their jobs in lockdown crisis. They were shown generous nature by cine celebs under Megastar Chiranjeevi's CCC Trust.
It's now hoped everyone will be back to work ensuring to bring normalcy. Right now, a couple of small budgeted films are readying for release while most other films are at various stages of production. Among big filmsl, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab completed 80% of the shoot while half of the shoot has been wrapped up for Megastar Chiranjeevi's Acharya. India's prestigious project RRR is on midway of its shoot.
King Nagarjuna's Wild Dog, Victory Venkatesh's Naarappa, Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Pushpa and Young Rebel Star's 20th venture are expected to go back to sets at the earliest to make sure the balance part of the shoot is wrapped up sooner.
