Mahesh Comedy: Producer Flooded With Calls

Superstar Mahesh Babu's film Okkadu directed by Gunasekhar turned out to be a blockbuster. Mahesh Babu's powerful performance, Bhumika's innocent looks and beauty, Prakash Raj's expressions, and Gunasekhar's taking took the film to another level.

In the film, there is a comedy scene involving Dharmavarapu Subhramanyam as a passport officer. Mahesh applies for Bhumika's passport. Mahesh comes along with his friends to collect the passport.

During that time Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam was seen speaking with his lover. He says "I bought a new cellphone. Your voice should be the first call. That's why I called you ignoring Savitri. I will tell you the number. Note down.. 9848032919".

He sends away Mahesh's friends saying Passport would be sent home. Mahesh's friends torture him calling him over the phone. Everyone wonders whose number is 9848032919. It is learnt that it was the number of producer MS Raju.

When the makers were thinking whose number one should include in the scene, someone suggested that the producer's number would be apt. After the release of the film, he got flooded with calls. MS Raju was forced to change his number.
