Lockdown Effect: Rahul Shines, Modi Wanes?

Has ongoing lockdown given an ultimate jolt to the PM Narendra Modi? Has it become a 'Bhasmasura Hastha' of Modi? And then, has the opposition leader Rahul Gandhi shined and Modi waned? Political analysts are seriously analyzing on these questions and are giving threatening info to the BJP leaders. According to them, Rahul Gandhi has scored brownie points with the lockdown while Modi seems to get his charismatic image eroded.

"Modi's government failure is clearly seen on the national highways wherein lakhs of migrants walking thousands of miles to reach their destinations. System's failure led them fall prey for mis-governance," said a political analyst. 

"Contrary to Modi's thoughtless decisions, the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been giving constructive advice to Modi which never would pay heed of the PM," added he. 

And true to the view of analysts, Rahul was the first politician who proclaimed coronavirus can be managed but not contained and lockdown alone is not the solution to get the problem solved. 

Winning the hearts of the sufferers, Rahul demanded the BJP led union government to transfer the money directly to the bank accounts of migrants and farmers. "Nobody needs Kisan Credit Cards or any other cards. Needy should need instant justice and instant monetary help," Rahul protested. 

In the meanwhile, noted critic professor Nageswar breathed fire on the union government for encouraging privatization in many sectors including Discoms, defense and air force sectors. 

By and large, it appears, aimless lockdown rings danger bells for Modi government's future politics.
