Did Chiru Really Give Approval For Prabhas And Co?

On the occasion of megastar Chiranjeevi’s Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari completing 30 years after its release, the film’s producer Ashwini Dutt announced that he will make sequel to the blockbuster that was directed by K Raghavendra Rao with Sridevi playing female lead and Ilayaraja scoring music.

Meanwhile, there have been lots of speculations about JVAS sequel. While it was reported that Nag Ashwin will direct mega power star Ram Charan in the sequel to be made under Vyjayanthi Movies banner, some others speculated that, Nag Ashwin’s next with young rebel star Prabhas is actually sequel to the evergreen film.

Now, many wonder whether Chiranjeevi really gave permission for sequel to the team. Nobody dared to remake Chiru’s super hits or make sequels to his films. Fans and movie buffs expect Charan to play lead role if ever Chiru’s film sequels are made.

Firstly, Chiranjeevi may not give approval for other compound star to do the sequel. Secondly, even if Chiru gives nod, cine goers may not accept other heroes other than Charan starring in JVAS sequel.

Considering many other factors, the crazy project of Prabhas and Nag Ashwin will be not a sequel to JVAS but will be made with a different subject. Only, time will say on this!
