Stylish Star Allu Arjun and pretty beauty Pooja Hegde's Ala Vaikunthapurramloo directed by Trivikram Srinivas broke all records at the box office and became true Sankranti winner this year.
Apart from Allu Arjun's performance, Pooja Hegde's looks, Trivikram's direction, and Thaman's tunes for the songs stole the hearts of all. The song Butta Bomma became so popular that not only Bollywood celebrities but also Australian cricketer David Warner danced to the song along with his wife and daughter.
Thaman shared the secrets behind Butta Bomma song. He said, “If I get 50 % credit, Bunny danced in a very graceful manner. He should get all the credit. I felt as if Chiranjeevi danced for the song. Bunny worked hard for the song. Initially, we did not think of this song. There was another song. But before starting the background score, I contacted Bunny and then removed that song and included Butta Bomma. We worked a lot to ready the song in three days. There is a big story behind it."
Thaman continued, “We shot the song in a very short time. Everything like the settings, flowers, Johnny master's dance synced very well. If we see the song with video and without video it will be completely different. We went in Trivikram's way in this instance. We achieved a big success as we went into Trivikram's quality thinking mode. In one word we blindly followed him. He is a library. Since we spent so much time, Aravinda Sametha and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo became big musical hits."
Coming to billion views, Thaman said, “It turned into a reality due to Bunny's desire. Bunny told me that he was waiting for me and Trivikram to work together and he needs Peniviti kind of song. He told me 'I do not know how hard you work but I need a billion hit'. I do not get NO from my side at any time. So due to that, I faced many risks. When Bunny asked I told him 'Yes brother we will definitely do'. However, Trivikram did not pressurize me anytime. He supported me all the time."
