Rajamouli Dreams Mahabharat, Netizens Request Ramayan

Making Mahabharat in three to four parts is ace director SS Rajamouli’s biggest dream. He even announced to bid adieu to films after making Mahabharat. After this announcement, gossip mongers came up with various stories like actors to reprise different roles in the film. However, Rajamouli stated that, he will take up Mahabharat after completing all his prior commitments.

Under these circumstances Twitterati requests Rajamouli to make Ramayan. As is known, epic Ramayan directed by Ramanand Sagar is being re-telecasted in Doordarshan and the recent episode got 7.7 Cr viewers creating world record. The hashtag #RajamouliMakeRamayan is presently trending in top position across the nation as netizens requesting the director to make the epic as his next project using the hashtag.

However, Rajamouli is yet to react on this. But, given his other commitments, Rajamouli may not take up Ramayan in near future. He is currently directing NTR and Ram Charan in RRR. The director committed to do a film with Mahesh Babu for Durga Arts banner.

Apparently, Rajamouli after completing Mahesh Babu’s film is likely to do a small time film. Then, he may line up his dream project Mahabharat which will take at least 5+ years to make all the parts.
