Vijay Deverakonda Says No More Requests Please!

While entire Tollywood celebrities were contributing either to CM relief funds of Telugu states or to CCC (Corona Crisis Charity), Vijay Deverakonda who always prefers to be unique decided to do charity works under his own foundation to help he middle class people.

Vijay also took up another program to train youngsters for employment, besides employing some of them to work in his apparel brand Rowdy wear. However, even in initial stages, Vijay announced to stop charity works temporarily due to lack of funds.

As of now, The Deverakonda Foundation provided groceries to 6000 families. However, they got nearly 77,000 entreaties. Vijay Deverakonda initiated The Deverakonda Foundation (TDF) with 1 Cr and contributed another Rs 25 lakhs to Middle Class Fund. He also got support from few donors. Nonetheless, due to heavy requests, they decided not to take any new requests. The foundation released a press statement saying, “We decided to put our background process tomorrow at 9 PM. So, every donor can see what they are a part of.”

It has to be seen whether industry people or others come forward to donate for TDF to help the middle class citizen who are going through tough times in the lockdown.
