Srikakulam No More Corona Free, AP Crosses 1000

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy initiated Red, Orange and Green zones respectively according to number of cases recorded in particular regions. He even planned to give relaxations to places which are corona free.

Shockingly, Srikakulam which was corona free district till yesterday recorded 3 cases in last 24 hours. Now, Vizianagaram is the only corona free district in the state. Apparently, more cases would have been registered had relaxations were given to green zones, opine medical experts.

61 new cases have been recorded in Andhra Pradesh in the past 24 hours. Total positive cases in the state crossed 1000 mark and stands at 1016. While the active cases are 814, death toll reached 31. 171 COVID-19 patients have been discharged so far.

Out of 61 new cases, Krishna, Kurnool recorded 25 and 14 cases respectively.
