Sequel Of Crazy Project Lands In Trouble

Expectations arose when Kamal Haasan and Shankar announced a sequel for their hit film Indian.  The film titled Indian 2 generated tremendous interest among movie lovers and the presence of star cast like Kajal Aggerwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Siddharth in important roles.

But right from the beginning, the differences between Shankar and Lycaa Productions over the budget hampered the film shoot. The shoot which was stalled recently resumed after Shankar and the production house resolved their differences.

When everything was going on smoothly, the devastating accident in the film sets resulting in the death of three persons and injuries to 12 when the crane fell on them while constructing the sets at the EVP Film City, came as a shock to all.

Police initiated an inquiry and with Kamal Haasan, Shankar accusing Lyca Productions of not taking enough precautionary and safety measures, relations hit a new low. Lycaa Productions too accused Shankar of not following the safety norms.

It is coming out that Lycaa suffered huge losses due to the accident. Kollywood sources say Indian 2 shooting came to a standstill and none of the heroines Kajal or Rakul is willing to resume. Sources say it is quite difficult for Indian 2 to see the arc lights in near future.
