Acharya Not To Bear That Super Burden

Megastar Chiranjeevi's next with Koratala Siva titled in a powerful manner as Acharya is hogging the limelight for one or the other reason. Longtime back a leak came that Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan was doing a powerful special in the film and Koratala is planning to show him in the role of a Naxalite.

But with already Rajamouli's multi starrer RRR with NTR and Ram Charan got delayed, Rajamouli and Danayya told Ram Charan to have Acharya release next summer if he wishes to star in the cameo.

So Acharya makers decided to rope in Superstar Mahesh Babu in the cameo and Koratala tweaked the story in such a manner to show Mahesh Babu as a student leader and Chiranjeevi as a Naxalite. The makers decided to give Rs 1cr per call sheet to Mahesh Babu and it amounts to Rs 30crs for 30 days.

Even as mega fans and movie lovers got excited, inside sources say Chiranjeevi is of the opinion that it skyrockets the film's budget and is not advisable. He feels that Ram Charan can do the same role without any remuneration and since Charan is the producer, one needs not pay him anything extra and if Mahesh is cast, the filmmakers will incur a burden of Rs 30crs.

So Chiru decided that even if it is late, better go with Ram Charan. Thus Koraala's dream of casting Mahesh Babu in Chiranjeevi's film is getting crashed. Nonetheless, we need to wait for official announcement on the same.
