Here’s Tollywood New Temptations

It is quite difficult to guess the language of the films going by the titles. This is because most of the films have Hindi or English titles. Finding a title for a film doesn't have any restrictions and be it any language, it should be catchy.

That is the reason why Tollywood is witnessing many English and other language titles for the films. For quite some time many people expressed their displeasure at the vanishing of Telugu even from the titles of the movies. But of late the situation is changing and many makers are tempting viewers with pure Telugu titles.

It all started with Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh's Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Trivikram Srinivas is known to be the lover of the Telugu language. He came with beautiful titles like Attarintiki Daaredi, A Aa, Aravinda Sametha, Agnyaathavaasi, and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Now sources say he zeroed in on another appealing title Ayinanu Poyiravale Hastinaku.

Some small films have titles like Uma Maheswara Ugra Rupasya, Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante, 30 Rojullo Preminchatam Ela, Meeku Maathrame Cheptha, Mathu Vadalara, Dorasani, Thippara Meesam, Bhagyanagara Veedhullo Gammathu, Tholu Bommalaata, Burra Katha, Ichata Vahanamaulu Niluparadu, Chavu Kaburu Challaga, Uppena, Oorantha Anukuntunnaru, Vinara Sodara Veera Kumara etc.

Even Chiranjeevi's next is titled Acharya, Prabhas' next touted to be titled as Radhe Shyam, Allu Arjun's next as Seshachalam. Others like Nageswara Rao, Narappa, Alivelu Venkata Ramana, Akasam Nee Haddura, Aranya, Nishabdham, Srikaram, Virataparvam etc are also pure Telugu titles.
