The Paradise Plot Revolves Around Jadal Fight
The Paradise is set in 1980s Secunderabad and follows Jadal, played by Nani, a man from a marginalised community facing discrimination and systemic injustice. The story centres on their struggle for identity, dignity, rights and citizenship, with Jadal gradually emerging as an unlikely leader who challenges the forces controlling their lives.
Jadal’s journey is not presented merely as a violent rebellion. Nani has described The Paradise as a deeply emotional mother-son story, with Sonali Kulkarni playing his mother. Their relationship forms the emotional foundation of Jadal’s transformation, connecting his personal struggles with the larger fight for freedom and dignity.
The conflict expands through the Maalik family, with Mohan Babu portraying Shikanja Maalik and Raghav Juyal appearing as Vikram Maalik. Kayadu Lohar plays Subbu, while Sampoornesh Babu is seen as Biriyani. The characters become part of Jadal’s larger struggle against an oppressive system and the social forces surrounding his community.
Directed by Srikanth Odela after his collaboration with Nani in Dasara, The Paradise combines period action with social drama and an emotional core. The film is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on September 24, 2026 with premiers on September 23 night all over the world. Nani has also confirmed that the film will release without a conventional trailer, keeping much of its narrative under wraps.
