Sketch On To Pull NTR Into Politics

Right after the shock defeat of TDP in the least assembly elections, pressure has been mounting on former AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu to bring in Young Tiger Ntr to save the party from complete destruction.

Many in the party started making calls for Ntr to take over the reins of the party. Chandra Babu, however, maintained stoic silence and rumors for a long spread that after the 2009 elections in which Ntr campaigned for the party, sidelined him fearing that he would be a threat for the rise of his son Lokesh.

Later rift increased between Ntr and Chandra Babu with the TDP government rejecting permissions for the benefit shows for Ntr's films. Even the fan wars between Ntr and Balakrishna complicated the matters.

With the crushing defeat of TDP, fears are increasing that there won't be any party to fight the next elections. With Lokesh not in a position to lead the party and instill confidence among the party men and cases hanging as a damsel sword on Chandra Babu, he is looking towards Ntr.

The question is will Young Tiger whose career is currently on the verge of taking off to the next level of stardom with projects like Rajamouli's RRR will give green signal to lead the party entering the full-length politics and whether Lokesh reacts favorably to the developments.
