Nani Not Interested In Sequel, Poor Varma?

Natural Star Nani introduced Prashanth Varma as director with a unique film Awe. The film that starred Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, Priyadarshi Pullikonda and Srinivas Avasarala won critical accolades besides becoming a decent hit at box office. Nani was then lauded for making Prashanth’s dream possible.

Prashanth in his second attempt directed Rajasekhar in an action thriller Kalki which stood as a flop. Meanwhile, the young director has been puzzled about sequel for Awe.

Clarifying on the same, Prashanth stated, “For everyone who’s been asking me about #Awe2… Thank you so much for your interest in the project. I have finished writing the script almost an year back and it’s much more crazier than #Awe. But, I couldn’t mount it cause I couldn’t find a producer whose craziness matches that of the script’s. Trust me guys.. I really tried. So it happens when it happens.”

It seems Nani doesn’t want to take second risk, because the first part did not fare as expected. Moreover, Nani is busy with multiple projects. Apparently, he doesn’t want to sail on two boats.
