Finally, Chiru Got The Chance With Sye Raa

Compared to Bollywood, South filmmakers and especially Tollywood filmmakers are known for making mythological and folklore entertainers in an interesting and gripping manner.

Almost all the top stars ever since the evolution of Tollywood starred in folklore films. Since the 90s, North Indians started making mythological and folklore serials on small screen after the sensation of Ramayana and Mahabarata.

Tollywood filmmakers came with many folklore films and now the question arises as to which star is the best in sword fight sensation. NTR and ANR starred in many films wielding swords but Kata Rao stole the show over them in sword fights. He even earned the honor of Katti Kanta Rao from the movie lovers for his expertise and natural sword fights.

Krishna too wielded the sword and same is the case with Sobhan Babu and Krishnam Raju. Balakrishna got the honor of wielding swords most of the time, thanks to his legendary father NTR's fascination for mythological and folklore films.

Chiranjeevi did not get the chance to wield the sword and among the younger generation, very few got the opportunity and made the best use. They include Ram Charan, NTR, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Rana among others. 

While Allu Arjun sizzled in a cameo of Gonna Ganna Reddy in Rudramadevi, Ram Charan did it in Magadeehra while Prabhas and Rana showed the power of their swords in Baahubali. 

Now Chiranjeevi is set to show his sword power in Sye Raa. Among the contemporary heroines, Anushka is lucky to have wielded sword more than once. She did it in Arundhati, Baahubali, Rudramadevi and will be seen doing it in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
