Bigg Boss Worrying Manmadhudu 2

Stars host popular TV shows not just to earn extra bucks, but their main intention was to become more close to family audience with their regular appearance on small screen. Of late, top stars too are showing interest to host popular reality shows. Nagarjuna, Chiranjeevi, NTR, Nani, Rana etc. hosted different TV shows.

But, Bigg Boss has become most successful reality show in Telugu. The first season of the show was hosted by NTR who did not take up the job for next seasons owing to his busy schedule. While Nani hosted the second season, Nagarjuna has taken the responsibility to guide Bigg Boss housemates for season three.

However, one negative sentiment is worrying Bigg Boss 3 host Nagarjuna and his fans. Stars are facing a debacle, when they are hosting the show. NTR was doing Jai Lava Kusa when he signed Bigg Boss. He promoted the film vigorously using the platform. But, for various reasons, the film directed by Bobby turned out to be a commercial flop.

Nani while hosting Bigg Boss 2 was shooting for his multi-starrer film DevDas co-starring Nagarjuna. Directed by Aditya Sriram, the film botched utterly at box office. It was indeed one of the biggest disasters of that year.

Now, Nagarjuna, his fans and makers of Manmadhudu 2 are worrying about this negative sentiment. More importantly, the show which got record TRP ratings initially is losing its sheen, after the transgender Tamanna Simhadri entered the house. She completely spoiled the affable atmosphere in the house and the demand to eliminate her is increasing in social media. This surely will have a negative impact.

Other than that, promotions are also pretty weak for the film. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, Manmadhudu 2 is due for release tomorrow. It has to be seen how these negative factors affect the film’s prospects.
