Charan, Mahesh Failed, What About Prabhas?

Star heroes like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh and few others tried their luck in Bollywood only after acquiring a super-star status in the domestic circuit. Several other stars as to extend their market have starred in Tamil films as well. But, most of them botched to make their mark in Kollywood, Bollywood or any other industry other than Tollywood.

In current generation stars, Mega Power Star Ram Charan was the first star to try his hand in other industry. But, his Bollywood debut venture Zanjeer turned out to be an utter flop. Although Charan got few offers later, he decided not to take another risk.

Super Star Mahesh Babu who enjoys immense fans frenzy in Telugu states had tested his luck in Kollywood with Spyder which ended as a debacle at box office both in Telugu and Tamil. Although few Bollywood filmmakers are keen to make a multi-lingual film with Mahesh, he is reluctant to make any wrong moves at this point of time. He clarified several times that; he is not willing for Bollywood debut for now.

Genex Star Vijay Devarakonda ventured into Kollywood with NOTA which ended as a disaster. He released his last movie Dear Comrade in all south languages and included few special elements to attract audience in other languages. But, the film directed by Bharat Kamma too failed utterly in all the languages.

Likewise, Prabhas tasted blockbuster with Baahubali which was actually dubbed in Hindi and other languages. His next outing Saaho is a real test for him in Bollywood. The film directed by Sujeeth under UV Creations and T Series is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi languages. So, technically, Saaho is first Bollywood film for Prabhas.

If Saaho turns out to be a hit, then Prabhas will be the first star in this generation to make his mark in other industry.
