Mass Raja Raviteja who is reeling under the string of flops is pinning all hopes on his upcoming entertainer Disco Raja. Mass Raja fans got super excited as Raviteja is romancing hotties Payal Rajput, Tanya Hope and Nabha Natesh in the film directed by VI Anand.
In the meantime it is coming out that Disco Raja is suffering from the shades of various Hollywood films and upcoming Tamil film Komali.
Disco Raja story revolves around a person who comes out of coma after many years and faces difficulties in adjusting to the changed atmosphere.
The Tamil film Komali starring Jayam Ravi and Kajal Agarwal too is based on the same concept. The film landed in huge controversy with the satires on Super Star Rajinikanth in the film's teaser.
Komali is a full length comedy entertainer which is releasing on August 15. Efforts are on to dub the film in Telugu. If this happens there will be no novelty in Disco Raja. So, the makers are of the opinion that Komali won't release till December by which their film will hit the screens.
In fact both Komali and Disco Raja are inspired by Hollywood blockbuster Blast From The Past which released in 1996. Disco Raja's poster released on Raviteja's birthday had captions 'Revind..Fast Forward. Play.. Kill".
Disco Raja has 1980s backdrop and Raviteja is playing dual role as a father and son. Raviteja's earlier film Raja The Great too had shades of Bollywood hit Blind Fury which released in the 1990s.
