Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, including the IPL. The move comes after Rayudu who was in the stand-by list for the World Cup was snubbed by the Indian team management.
Ambati Rayudu was not picked in India's 15-member squad for the World Cup 2019 and then was ignored twice when Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal were sent to England as replacements for the injured Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar.
After he was ignored in the 15-member World Cup squad, Rayudu posted a cheeky tweet that was directed to the selectors. &ldquo;Just Ordered a new set of 3d glasses to watch the world cup.&rdquo;
In 55 ODIs, Rayudu scored 1694 runs with three centuries and 10 half-centuries at an average of 47.05. In the six T20Is he played, the middle-order batsman scored 42 runs. Rayudu never got a chance to represent India in Test cricket.
Obviously, when he wasn't picked to play in the World Cup, even after two injuries, Rayudu who apparently is frustrated with the recent developments has decided he didn't want to play international cricket any more.

However, in between, he loses steam, but still, the first half ends on a decent note, setting the tone for the second half.He continues in the same manner in the second half but adds a few more intense emotional elements. A couple of twists generate interest, surprising all. The twists come as a surprise in a rather predictable story, and the flat narration, especially in the second half. However, once the twists are unraveled, there is nothing much in the story to take it forward. The climax ends on an emotional note.GV. Prakash Kumar elevated the scenes with his background music. His background score added impact to the emotional scenes. His music and tunes for the songs already became the chartbusters. While one song is emotional, the other two songs are foot-tapping. His background music is in sync with the story. Vinod Bangari's cinematography is quite good. He showed the rural atmosphere in Telangana in a natural and realistic manner. The Ravi , Swetha love track and the father-daughter marriage episodes ends up testing the patience of the viewers.The court drama and the land dispute in the second half is shown in an illogical and silly manner. The point as to why son is hating his father is not shown in an elaborate manner and the father son bonding is not elevated properly except in the climax.A more racy screenplay, more intense and entertaining script would have added value to the narration. Many expected things to change after Vishal who was seen as a honest and innocent medical representive gets trageted. But nothing of that sorts happen and the entry of other Vishal character is expected to change the proceedings at least in the second half. However, the narration nosedives in the second half to a new low. The scenes featuring Vishal, Dushara Vijayan lack the emotional connect and looks mundane and the so called comedy with Thambi Ramaiah doesn't work.Things doesn't change in the second half and the so called flashback episode which is expected to take the film to next level is dragged to the core testing the patience of the viewers. The chemistry between Vishal and Anjali looked odd on screen and to the irritation of viewers, the pre climax and climax is dragged to the next level leaving people wonder when the film will end. The climax fight looked silly and illogical leaving all shocked. The story is outdated and screenplay and direction didnot inspire any confidence.GV. Prakash Kumar's music offered nothing new. The tunes turned below average. His background music fared no better. At times it turned out to be loud. The cinematography of Richard M Nathan is just average. Dialogues are pretty ordinary.
