Akhil Not To Press The Accelerator, Until Then

Young hero Akkineni Akhil who got huge shocks with his first three outings with Akhil The Power of Jua, Hello and Mr Majnu turning out to be disasters at the box office is keen to prove all his critics long.

After a long delay, he decided to team with Bommarillu Bhaskar, the project being produced by Bunny Vasu. The project was launched with much fanfare and Akkineni fans got super excited when they came to hear that the film will have the shades of Genex hit Geetha Govindam.

However, even after a month passed on following the launch, its regular shoot did not start. The makers are unable to finalize heroine opposite Akhil. Though the names of Pooja Hegde, Kiara Advani and Rashmika Mandanna did rounds, none of them were finalized.

The makers earlier planned to start shooting and finalize heroine later but now they decided against it. A source shares that the shooting will start only after the heroine is finalized. Source reveals, “Many of the young actresses like Rashmika are busy with other projects. So the makers thought of introducing a new face opposite Akhil, and are searching for the right lead.

It’s a romantic entertainer with a family backdrop, and in most of Bommarillu Bhaskar’s films, the lead actress has a lot of scope to perform, so they are looking for a girl who can do good on the screen.”
