Former CM Chandrababu Naidu resorted to many blunders in his administration during his 5-year tenure. One among them was selecting a 3-crop yielding land as the state's capital. Subsequently, he collected 33 thousand acres of land and named the capital Amaravati. Instead of letting permanent constructions were done, he unnecessary wasted hundreds of crores on temporary constructions.
The new CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been taking sensible decisions ever since he assumed the power. If the latest buzz is anything to go by, YS Jagan has decided to change the name of Amaravati. Besides, he is contemplating to shift capital to Tulluru of Guntur district which is in a limited space.
Furthermore, YS Jagan has decided to give the land back to the farmers at Amaravati, who were earlier forced to sell their land to the government. It remains to be seen what more revolutionary decisions will be taken up by YS Jagan and would put them into implementation.
