Chiru Supports Prabhas Opponent, No Issues

Kannada star Sudeep on Tuesday unveiled a new poster from his upcoming film Pailwaan, revealing his look as a professional boxer. The action-packed poster highlights the newly-achieved physique of the actor.

Sudeep underwent special training in boxing and got ripped to plays a martial artist in the film directed by S Krishna. The Kannada film will also be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi on August 9th.

Mega Star Chiranjeevi unveiled the Telugu version of the poster while calling Sudeep as a committed actor. “#Sudeep, an intense, versatile, committed actor now comes as #Pailwaan.Amazed at his tremendous efforts to get the killer looks of a Real Pailwaan!Wish this Pailwaan is loved and rewarded by Telugu audiences! Bravo @KicchaSudeep!! All the Very Best!! (sic),” he said in the statement.

Chiranjeevi’s support is a big lift for the film in Telugu. It is known that, Sudeep is playing a key role in Chiranjeevi’s dream project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Directed by Surender Reddy, the 151st film of Chiru is likely to release in October.

Chiranjeevi’s support for Pailwan, however, disappoints fans of young rebel star Prabhas. The actor’s most awaited flick Saaho will also be releasing in all south languages and Hindi. The Sujeeth directorial will hit the screens on August 15, less than a week days, after the release of Pailwaan.

Nonetheless, they opine that, Pailwaan is not a big competitor for Prabhas’s Saaho, in terms of business standards!
