Valmiki: 2 Cr For Star Attraction!

Mega prince Varun Tej is presently doing a gangster comedy film Valmiki, official remake of Tamil hit Jigarthanda, under Harish Shankar’s direction. Tamil actor Atharvaa Murali is roped in to play the protagonist, while Varun Tej will be seen as antagonist. In fact, the film focuses on Varun, wherein Atharvaa is given a bit less importance.

The film will not have much scope for female lead as well. So, makers initially thought of casting a newcomer. However, they changed their mind as they want to add another star attraction to the film. Kannada beauty Pooja Hegde who is starring in top star films is almost finalized for Valmiki.

It is learnt that, Pooje Hegde needs to allot just 15 days of call sheets. But, the amount she is quoting will surely blow your minds. The actress is said to be demanding Rs 2 Crores. Since Harish Shankar is particular about roping Pooja, producers accepted to pay the bulky pay.

As is known, Pooja Hegde earlier worked with Harish Shankar in DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham in which she was seen donning bikini and oozing oomph. Of course, Pooja’s glamor will be a big add-on for Valmiki as well!
