Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna and mass director Boyapati Srinu duo delivered two blockbusters- Simha and Legend. Boyapati’s name was heard for Balakrishna’s 100th film, but Krish grabbed the opportunity as he was ready with bound script of Gautamiputra Satakarni.

Later, when Teja walked out of NTR Biopic, many predicted Boyapati would be given the responsibility. But, that didn’t happen. Again, Krish was roped in to direct NTR Biopic which was made as two part series- NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu. Unfortunately, the two part series turned out to be disaster at box office.

On the flip side, Boyapati too delivered two disasters in form of Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Vinaya Vidheya Rama. He faced lots of criticism for VVR which disappointed even hard core fans of Ram Charan.

Actually, Boyapati was supposed to direct Balakrishna’s next which was announced long ago. However, the project delayed owing to elections in AP. Boyapati was asked to direct TDP ads which were aired during elections in the state.

When many expected announcement about commencement of Balakrishna-Boyapati film, Balayya gave big shock by announcing his next with KS Ravikumar who previously directed him in a decent hit Jai Simha.

We learnt that, Balakrishna who was supposed to produce his film with Boyapati backed out as he got huge shock in form of his first and last production venture- NTR Biopic. Balakrishna is said to have decided not to produce films in future. More importantly, Boyapati asked nearly 70 Cr budget for his film with Balakrishna which is more than double to the actor’s market range.

Apparently, Balakrishna lost faith in Boyapati who made few flops in recent times. The film will go on sets if and only if a producer who can invest 70 Cr budget comes forward to produce the film or else Boyapati should come up with another subject which requires moderate budget!
