Mega Star Chiranjeevi after burning hands in politics by launching his own party Praja Rajyam and then merging the same with the Congress silently came out of the politics and started concentrating on films after a comeback to screen with Khaidi No 150.
Currently, he is busy with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and stayed away from politics even though his brother Pawan Kalyan is testing his luck contesting elections with his Janasena party. He remained silent even when his brother Naga Babu joined Janasena and decided to contest the elections.
Speculations are rife with the reports that, Chiranjeevi would campaign for his Congress party and especially for Konda Vishweswar Reddy who is contesting from Chevelle Lok Sabha constituency on congress ticket.
Konda Vishweswar Reddy, as we all know, is Chiranjeevi's daughter in law Upasana's uncle. As per the gossip mongers, Upasana requested her father in law Chiranjeevi to campaign for her uncle.
However, the fact is Chiru is not campaigning for any party. In order to stay away from politics, he flew to Japan along with his wife Surekha. After coming back from the trip, he will resume shoot of Sye Raa.
