Cyclone Titli might have thrown people of Srikakulam and Vizianagaram in a state of blue funk. But then, more pathetically, the union government's blind eye on the devastated districts is paining to an extremity.
Notwithstanding, do we solely blame union government for not announcing instant aides for a quick relief and rescue operations?
"No way," say political analysts. "The union government could have made out the length and span of the loss borne by Srikakulam locals had the news channels come up with an aggressive coverage of flood and cyclone affected areas of the cursed district. The pro TDP top news channels haven't telecast the following info which made the centre hoodwinked on AP.
* No journo of top Telugu pro TDP channels has gone to that extent as the opposition leader Power Star Pawan Kalyan visited remote areas and interviewed the people and let videos were shot on destroyed crops and houses.
* AP CM Chandrababu Naidu gave just Rs.500 for an entire village to buy vegetables. Likewise, he gave two candles each per a family in a village and ordered the members of that family that they would adjust with those candles for 9 days. CBN's bhajana news channels would never broadcast those silly acts of the CM.
* No news on prolonged power cuts in hundred's of villages.
* In fact, they ignored showing Srikakulam's people woes to save the CM from criticism.
* Irrespective his government's disastrous failure in relief and rescue operations, the CM has kept criticizing Modi for not sanctioning of any funds to Srikakulam district. And this news is being given a wide coverage by the TDP news channels.
* Having understood the ploy of AP CM and his pro TDP caste media, Modi might have been disgusted on them which led AP not received any more funds. But then, Modi, being the PM and has the responsibility to rescue people who are in life threats in case of natural disasters, has to announce finacial assistance at the earliest.
