It is a known news that Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's Ntr film release date has been locked to January 9 as a Sankranthi gift for audience. As of now, Balakrishna's pre release business stamina was moved around Rs.30 crores. Given the crazy star cast and crew being inducted for Ntr biopic, the movie's budget will be crossing beyond Balayya Babu's stamina.
In such case, the risk factor of recovery of investments will also be increased. As such, Ntr's makers are reportedly negotiating the the filmmakers who locked their films release dates to Sankranthi season.
As of now, Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Boyapati Srinu's combo film and Mega Prince Varun Tej's F2 got their films release dates confirmed for Sankranthi release. As per an update, Akhil's 3rd venture Mr Majnu (working title) may also hit screens for Sankranthi.
Ntr makers are learnt to have requested the makers of above films to get their films put off for another season citing the reason that it would be the biopic of a legendary personality.
"Yes, we've immense respect on Ntr. But then, we also have great respect on buyers who acquired our film's rights for whopping prices aiming at Sankranthi collections. Unless our film released for Sankranthi, the buyers will suffer more than like anything. Hence, we can't alter the film's release date", says one of the filmmakers. Obviously, all other producers also have same opinion on their films' releases.
