Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's dream project Mahabharat is all set to go on shelves. Speculations have been rife that Aamir Khan has opted out of the project.
It is a known news that Aamir Khan has planned Mahabharat film with three parts as a trilogy and Rs.1000 crores has reportedly been allocated for the film. Mukhesh Ambani has also shown interest on bankrolling the film. The movie was supposed to get all its three parts wrapped up in five years.
Aamir Khan thought that the total budget allocated for the film would be increased in next five years and it can't be affordable by the makers. Instead of risking on a single film for five years, it'd be better doing three different films in next five years. As such, Aamir has turned down the project.
As we all know, numero uno director SS Rajamouli's lifetime dream is to direct Mahabharat. Movie lovers are of the opinion that Rajamouli only can complete Mahabharat but no one else. But then, what does the number one director say?
