Journalist and Director B Jaya Passes Away

Esteemed Tollywood woman director and senior journalist Mrs B Jaya breathed her last on Thursday at 9:20 pm on 30th of August, 2018 due to cardiac arrest. She was 54. She was the wife of popular film journalist and PRO Mr BA Raju. 

B Jaya had been suffering from prolonged illness for a long time and had passed away last night.

B Jaya completed MA English through Chennai University and MA Psychology through Annamalai University. Thereafter, she started her career as a journalist in Andhra Jyothi and Jyothi Chitra as a film journalist. 

B Jaya made her film debut through a successful film Chantigadu released in 2003. Premikudu, Gundamma Gari Manavadu, Saval, Lovely and Vaishakham are some of her other works. 

B Jaya's last rites will be performed at Panjagutta Cremation Ground at 11 am today.

B Jaya was considered to be one of the very few successful woman directors of Tollywood history. Cinejosh is disheartened with the sudden demise of B Jaya garu. Our heartfelt condolences to the members of her family. May her soul rest in peace!
