Scared Of 2 Scandals, Stars Support TRS

Everyone knows that most of those present in Tollywood are from Andhra Pradesh. During the Telangana movement, the protestors spewed venom even on Tollywood celebrities and accused them of insulting Telangana dialect, culture and accent in the name of humour, villainism in their films on silver screen. Many expected film industry to shift base from Hyderabad to either Visakhapatnam or Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.

However much to the shock of all, despite AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and other ministers promising everything and doling out red-carpet to Tollywood and even ensuring benefit shows to the top stars films, unlike in TS CM KCR, they remained stay put in Hyderabad. What is more, top stars like Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and young stars like Vijay Devarakonda and others started promoting the schemes of Telangana state Government, exchanging mutual compliments from ministers like Kavitha, KTR, Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, Harish Rao and others.

This is in stark reality to their behavior towards Andhra Pradesh. They never promoted any state Government scheme and to the top of it, didn’t even respond to the greetings of minister Lokesh and others. Many are wondering why the film stars are behaving in such manner. Many say Tollywood biggies are maintain close relation with TRS Government as many leading personalities’ names came out in the drug racket and also in the US sex scandal for the fear of getting exposed.

They say Hyderabad has world class facilities and as they are business like, would like to promote and save their interests rather than shift and take risk by investing in yet to be developed state of Andhra Pradesh. Analysts are of the opinion that celebrities and film personalities are business like and don’t get carried away with emotional talk and sentiments and feelings.
